Coordinate and participate in the design of protocol manuals, education materials, evaluation and data collection instruments, and training materials • Coordinate and oversee the process of recruitment and screening of subjects for research studies. • Oversee and coordinate the collection, entry, verification, and analysis of data. May assist Principal Investigators with simple data and statistical analysis. • May direct and/or initiate facility recruitment; coordinate procurement of equipment and supplies with the research administration office; and interface with others to identify needs and issues related to the program, study, and/or project. • Perform administrative duties; such as, managing clinical research operations including the budget and ensuring compliance with quality control, security, and safety procedures. Identify and address issues and deficiencies and implement effective solutions. May prepare or assist with the preparation of manuscripts, scientific illustrations, and journal articles. • Oversee regulatory compliance and serve as point person in communications with the IRB. This includes preparation and submission of project modifications that are requested by the project sponsors and preparing and submitting annual continuing review to the IRB. • May assist with FDA Applications. • Work collaboratively with the PI’s and research administration office in executing new clinical trial budgets and contracts and to complete billing requirements for all clinical research studies. • Performs other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education:Bachelor's degree in scientific field of study related to the research of the clinical setting. Master’s degree preferred. Experience:Five (5) years in clinical research. IRB and FDA experience is preferred. Supervision:One (1) year of direct supervision or responsibility for training, work coordination, and monitoring the work of others. Other: May consider a combination of directly related experience and education.
