Senior Product Marketing Manager: Sage Earth

As the Senior Product Marketing Manager for Sage Earth, you will lead the charge in defining and refining our product marketing strategy and taking our carbon accounting proposition to market. You’ll balance the commercial opportunities with the potential to have a material global impact on decarbonisation.

　　Collaborating within a dynamic team, the role requires working closely with the Sage Earth product team as well as a broad range of stakeholders across the business. You’ll need to evangelise, both internally and externally, for the role Sage Earth can play in helping Sage to meet its Sustainability and Society strategy and commitments, especially the Protect The Planet pillar.

　　The role sits within the Brand Propositions team within Product Marketing. Product Marketing at Sage is about deeply understand customers and markets and using this to design growth plans, compelling and differentiated propositions and high impact go-to-markets. The Brand Propositions team are responsible for propositions that span Sage’s business units, including Sage’s overarching brand proposition as well as Sage Earth.

　　Key Responsibilities:

　　Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the needs of small and medium businesses for carbon accounting, and broader ESG, solutions and the market for these solutions

　　Create and refine the value propositions which will drive usage, revenue and brand metrics

　　Ensure effective go-to-market execution

　　Evangelise for Sage Earth and the leading role that Sage is taking in helping small and medium businesses in their transition to net zero

　　High calibre product marketeer with experience of product marketing strategy, proposition development and go-to-market execution

　　Customer centric with focus on deeply understanding customer needs and delivering compelling propositions and exceptional customer experience

　　Ability to work cross functionally to drive outcomes with strong stakeholder management and communication skills

　　Professional experience within sustainability or a personal passion and understanding of sustainability and the environment

　　Growth mindset both in terms of personal learning and development and in terms of testing and learning for proposition development
