Who You Are and What You'll Do
We have a position in the Applied Measurement Science Laboratory of the North American Personal Care and Beauty and Wellbeing Technology Centre in Trumbull, Connecticut. The individual will be focused on our regulatory compliance testing program, ensuring the integrity and safety of our products via the analysis of ingredients of concern and trace contaminants using LC/MS/MS and GC/MS. They will have experience with targeted and untargeted analysis using chromatographic and mass spectral techniques. Ideally, they will have some experience in method development and validated methods. The individual must have excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills to work within a fast-paced team environment that requires the ability to handle multiple demands.

What You'll Need to Succeed
M.S. degree in Analytical Chemistry with 1+ year of industrial experience in method development, method validation, and problem-solving using chromatographic techniques or B.S. degree in Chemistry with 3+ years of industrial experience. Less experience may be considered if the applicant has the potential to grow into the position.
Analytical skills must include LC/MS/MS and GC/MS analysis.
Hands-on experience with a working knowledge of instrument maintenance and calibration is necessary.
Familiarization with statistical software is a plus.
The role has an emphasis on technical documentation and communication.
A proven track record in trace contaminant analysis is desirable.
Pay: The pay range for this position is $67,000 to $100,500. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
