We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Research Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in oncology and be comfortable interacting with physicians and patients. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, contributing to cutting-edge cancer research, and being part of a prestigious academic research institute.

Responsibilities

Conduct and coordinate clinical research studies in oncology.

Ensure compliance with IRB, GCP, and other regulatory requirements.

Obtain informed consent from study participants.

Perform patient recruitment and enrollment for clinical trials.

Conduct chart reviews and maintain accurate patient records.

Report adverse events using CTCAE.

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Provide patient care and support throughout the study duration.

Essential Skills

Registered Nurse with a license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.

At least 2-3 years of clinical research experience.

Experience in oncology and hematology.

Knowledge of cancer medications and adverse event reporting.

Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with physicians and patients.

Proficiency in clinical research procedures and protocols.

Additional Skills Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Experience with patient recruitment and enrollment.

Familiarity with electronic data capture (EDC) systems.

Work Environment

You will work in a fast-paced environment on a large campus. The clinic operates from 8 AM to 5 PM. Our department is one of six centers for the Parker Institute, leading innovative immunotherapy trials and pioneering scientific discoveries. The research facility is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, and you will work on high-profile studies with well-known sponsors. The Cancer Center is renowned for its vibrant and well-funded research base, holding over $145 million in grant funding and ranking fifth in funding from the National Cancer Institute.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
