CLINICAL RESEARCH NURSE

　　Description:

　　Seeking an RN to fill a support role on our clinical research team. This position will mentor multiple areas of our department and become proficient in various roles, including; research pharmacy, phlebotomy and research clinic. This position will fill various gaps in day-to-day operations. This role will require the candidate to:

　　perform tasks such as; preparation of investigational products

　　monitoring research subjects

　　taking and recording vital signs

　　performing EKG’s, drawing blood for research and clinical lab samples

　　recording study data in various data bases

　　Verbal and written communication with the Principal Investigator, Sub-Investigators and Research Coordinators on site is a critical element of this role. Special projects to assist the department may be assigned as needed.

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　New York State licensed RN.

　　Bachelor's degree required. 2-5 years minimum clinical experience.

　　Proficient in phlebotomy, basic clinical assessments, IV skills

　　Follow a detailed clinical research protocol.

　　Excellent organizational skills, problem solving and communication skills required.
