　　Ensures safe, appropriate, and economical use of drugs through theapplication of specialized skills and knowledge in pediatric patient care.This team member is part of the General Medicine Competency Group. As amember of this group, the pharmacist will have the opportunity to work withour hospital medicine team caring for our general medicine population, aswell as specialty areas including acute pain, kidney and liver solid organtransplant, psychiatry, pulmonology, and neurology. In these roles,the pharmacist will be the medication expert for the service line. They willround with the multidisciplinary team, review and verify orders, performtherapeutic drug monitoring, review TPNs, provide patient education,answer drug information questions, and more.
