We're looking for someone to join our team as a Clinical Partner (CP)/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Cardiac Monitor Tech (CMO)!

As a CP/CNA/CMO for Centralized Telemetry Services you are responsible for monitoring, measuring and analyzing the heart rhythms of cardiac and other telemetry monitored patients in the medical center’s North and South Towers and 3SCCT and provide care to telemetry/progressive care (PCU) patients on 3SCCT, our 30-bed Universal Unit.

You will admit and/or discharge patients, measure and interpret strips every four hours and as needed with alarms, alarm review every hours and as needed

You will document via electronic tele-tracking based on escalation algorithm, and float to bedside patient care as needed.

You will also perform a variety of direct patient care activities or tasks specific to the unit/needs of the patient population under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN).

You will assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).

Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

High School diploma or GED required.

Associate Degree or college diploma preferred.

License/Certification/Registration Requirements:

Valid CA CNA certification required.

Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) Approved by the American Heart Association or The American Red Cross.

Experience:

One year of previous CNA experience in an acute care facility, (hospital or medical center strongly preferred) or long-term-care hospital (convalescent, skilled nurse facility or physical rehabilitation center) preferred.

CMO experience strongly preferred.
