We arelooking for a compassionate, experienced professional who will monitornursing care activities for the facility on the evening shift under thesupervision of the Director of Nursing. The Nurse Supervisor has theresponsibility to perform administrative and supervisory duties for thefacility with a focus of supporting our direct care team. Creating andmaintaining a positive culture is of utmost importance. This positionalso has an active role in the direct care of our residents and ensuringquality care. We\'re looking for an individual who truly cares aboutmaking our community the best home possible for our residents. Full-Timemanagement-level position (32-40 hours/week). On-Call Rotation. 3-11pmMAJOR JOB FUNCTIONS:(include, but not limited to) Receives informationdaily on residents Assures residents receive prescribed medications,diets and treatments Assures residents are comfortable, clean and wellgroomed Assures incident reports are complete, investigated, andreported to regulatory authorities as needed Assists with admissions asneeded Oversight of direct care team (RNs, LPNs, TMAs & CNAs) CompletePerformance Evaluations on an annual basis for assigned team membersOn-call requirement Qualifications and skills: Possess a current,unencumbered Minnesota RN. (RN preferred, but will consider LPN)Preferred 2 years of experience in Long Term Care Preferred, but notrequired, two years of nursing management experience Ability to interactwith a variety of people and promote a team philosophy Demonstrateleadership abilities to develop and motivate people Good criticalthinking and problem solving skills Additional Information Our teammembers benefit from ....
