　　Team or Function Overview:

　　As part of the IT organization, the Network Engineering Team is responsible for the design, implementation, and support of the GAF Network infrastructure. This includes interconnectivity of all GAF manufacturing plants, Warehouses/distribution centers, and corporate offices. In addition, the team supports the Networking functions for the GAF production and development environments within Microsoft Azure and Google GCP public Clouds.

　　Summary:

　　The ideal candidate for the Network Engineer role will contribute in the design, execution, and support of the current and future network environment including Routing and Switching, Network Security, Wide-Area-Networking, Wireless networking, and Remote Access solutions.. In addition, experience in Public Cloud networking (preferably MS Azure) and SD-WAN strategies is highly desirable in supporting the future state of the GAF network infrastructure. The position requires the candidate to be self-motivated, forward thinking, and a desire to work within a team framework/environment.

　　Essential Duties:

　　Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

　　● Perform Network Planning and design

　　● Execute implementation of network designs/solutions

　　● Provide expertise/technical support during network outages

　　● Support LAN/WAN technology for routing & switching

　　● Create and maintain network documentation

　　● Configure and deploy Next-Gen Firewalls (Cisco & Palo Alto) including advanced threat detection, vulnerability remediation, etc.

　　● Utilize Network management tools for Network monitoring, inventory management, automated configuration deployment, and life-cycle management

　　● Assist in the adaptation/deployment of an SD-WAN solution to replace the current GAF legacy MPLS Wide-Area-Network.

　　● Support Cloud-based networking functions including Expressroute connectivity, Firewall administration and IP subnetting/deployment.

　　● Work closely with organizational stakeholders to ensure proper alignment in meeting business objectives relative to network service deliverables

　　Under This Roof, We Require:

　　● Skilled in Network Routing & Switching, with experience in BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP routing protocols

　　● Solid understanding of network security including Cisco & Palo Alto Next-Gen Firewall solutions

　　● Ability to implement complex designs within a hybrid network environment

　　● Superb knowledge/experience with WAN technologies including MPLS , SD-WAN, and high speed Internet transport

　　● Experience working with Telco Carriers for circuit provisioning and fault isolation

　　● Expertise in LAN/WAN fault analysis and troubleshooting

　　● Advanced knowledge in Firewall deployment and management

　　● Public Cloud networking experience (preferable MS Azure and GCP)

　　● Experience or knowledgeable with SD-WAN technology

　　● Minimum 5 years experience in Network Engineering or Operations

　　●Associate degree in Information Technology or related field

　　● The ideal candidate should be self-motivated with a passion for team work

　　● Good communications skills
