Who We AreWith three campuses along Colorado s Front Range, Front Range CommunityCollege (FRCC) is the state s largest community college. We enroll close to28,000 students annually from our diverse service area, which offers a varietyof cultural and recreational activities.
Each year approximately 5,000 FRCC students transfer to four-yearuniversities. FRCC offers more than 36 career training programs that preparestudents for immediate employment and rewarding careers. Last year, more than5,000 high school students took concurrent enrollment classes with us, earningcollege credit without having to pay college tuition. And we were recentlyranked as one of the Top Online Colleges in the country by Newsweek.

Who You AreAs a part-time clinical instructor in the Nursing Department you provideclinical instruction with students for 3 days at a local long-term carefacility, including post-conference time, grading, paperwork. This willinvolve clinical hours observing students practice their skills, paired withreal C.N.A.s in the facility.
You work individually, as well as in collaboration with colleagues, to developinnovative curriculum which meets the needs of our diverse population ofstudents. Student retention and success is your top priority. You will utilizetechnology and effective teaching strategies to develop students criticalthinking skills.
You may be asked to teach at different times, locations and modalities to meetthe needs of the College.
SELECTION PROCESS: Position will remain open until filled with a strong needfor the Spring 2024 semester.

SALARY: $36/hour
BENEFITS: Part-Time Instructors will have their hours measured on an annualbasis to determine eligibility to enroll in medical health insurance only forthe following benefit period. REQUIRED EDUCATION/TRAINING & WORK EXPERIENCE:
One year of experience in nursing or nursing aide.Hold an active, unencumbered nursing license, registration, authority, orcertification in their field.
PREFERRED EDUCATION/TRAINING & WORK EXPERIENCE:Two years experience as a nurse or CNA.
