Direct Hire Position
Location: San Francisco
Pay: $100,000-$118,000/ per year (based on experience)
Shift: 8am-4:30pm
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Requirements :
· At least Masters in Psychology/Counseling/Social Work, or PhD/PsyD in Psychology, REQUIRED
· Must be licensed by Board (PhD/PsyD, LCSW, MFT, LPCC) and able to meet State/Board requirements to serve as a clinical supervisor
Demonstrated knowledge and at least 3 years work experience in providing outpatient behavioral health services to adults in the indigent and underserved populations, who have mental health and/or co-occurring conditions, and their families, in a community behavioral health setting, required
Job Description:
· Provide clinical supervision, oversee and monitor quality of care provided by supervisees (e.g. service delivery, documentation, etc…), and liaise with other service providers and Human Services Agency (HSA)
· Provide outreach, consultation services, and education/training on behavioral health services and issues to clients, families of consumers, community members, other professionals and program staff/interns, schools, and community organizations as deemed necessary
· Participate in the clinical leadership team with Program Director and other clinical supervisor(s), in assessing and planning for clinical services and administrative needs of the program
· Provide culturally competent behavioral health services, including individual mid to short-term counseling/therapy and case management services, and as needed, conduct crisis intervention and collateral meetings, to remove behavioral barriers to work participation and employment
· Conduct intakes and comprehensive initial risk assessments of clients, including a clinical analysis of the history and current status in relation to bio-psycho-social-cultural, risk factors, substance use/abuse/dependence, vocational experience, SSI assessments and eligibility, and other information.
· Facilitate/conduct group counseling/therapy sessions utilizing various modalities; process-oriented, curriculum-based, and/or psycho-educational, with various topics such as symptom management, stress management, relationship management, wellness recovery, parenting skills, and skills building
· Conduct functional assessments to determine if clients are able to perform work activities (brief screening to assess functioning for employability), and learning needs assessments to determine learning disabilities and tailor services to fit client needs as needed
· Refer and transition clients to the appropriate services and departments, as needed, based on clients’ needs and conditions
· Complete and maintain timely administrative and treatment records and documentation related to client care, in accordance to standards specified by company policies, clinical standards, and oversight agencies (e.g. HSA)
· Facilitate/Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, in-service trainings, and other staff development activities
· Participate in and facilitate various educational and training workshops relating to behavioral health issues, technical support/training, and psycho-educational topics for clients, HSA program staff, other professionals, and/or the community-at-large, as deemed necessary
· Collaborate in roundtable sessions as needed and closely coordinate and/or oversee coordination with treatment team members, HSA staff, and other care/community providers, as well as the client, in the planning of the individual’s treatment and care, goal development, vocational assessment and rehabilitation, case conferencing, participant progress, discharge planning, and other services as indicated
· Develop and maintain clear, open, timely, cooperative, and diplomatic communications and working relations with all staff, consumers, and partner agencies
· Perform other duties as assigned
