PositionOverview The Senior (Sr.) Clinical Laboratory QC Specialist providesservices of technical, regulatory, and project management nature withinthe quality control and clinical laboratory areas. This position isprimarily responsible for QC information technology infrastructure, QCregulatory compliance and QC project management cross-functionally. TheSr. Clinical Laboratory QC Specialist is also the primary individualresponsible for addressing QC IT troubleshooting and is the front linefor detecting systemic test system issues for the QC Team within theclinical laboratory. The Sr. Clinical Laboratory QC Specialist is theteam subject matter expert regarding the various information technologysoftware platforms in use for laboratory data and QC processes. The Sr.Clinical Laboratory QC Specialist works directly with the Manager,Clinical Laboratory Quality and Process Improvements, the ClinicalLaboratory Biostatistician, the Clinical Laboratory QC Supervisor aswell as the Clinical Laboratory QC Lead, to anticipate and resolveissues related to completing of required quality control sampleprocessing, system implementation, project management and the timelyresolution of any detected issues. The position is also responsible forassisting the Supervisor, Clinical Laboratory QC in scheduling,coordinating, analyzing, and implementing quality control activities inthe laboratory. This role will be available as an expert QC liaison forteams requiring clinical laboratory QC assistance. Essential Dutiesinclude but are not limited to the following: Responsible for oversightof data collection and ensuring QC and other laboratory teams such astechnical services, R&D, and LSD have received requested data.Responsible for automating Quality Control processes and critiquingprocesses currently in use for automated possibilities. Comprehensiveknowledge of JMP, its features, programming, and subsequent analysis aswell as other statistical tools the laboratory uses.
