Theposition is eligible for promotion to the associate and full level. Theprimary teaching duties will include a variety of molecular biologycourses, such as Introductory Cell and Molecular Biology, Genetics,Microbiology, Bioinformatics, or Cell Biology Lab. The positionassignment is approximately 80% teaching and 20% departmental service.Teaching Faculty play a critical role in developing curricula. Theymanage laboratory courses and support the teaching of graduate studentteaching assistants. They advance the University\'s mission of providingstudent-centered, quality education and are committed to the success ofour students and the university. Qualifications include a Ph.D. inMolecular/Cellular Biology, Genetics, or a related field, and priorteaching experience.

Minimum qualifications:
A PhD in a field related to Biological Sciences, such as Genetics,Cell, Molecular, Microbiology, or General Biology.Preferred qualifications:
An interest in developing and delivering undergraduate curriculum.A commitment to monitoring and improving teaching and thoughtfulcourse design using evidence based practices.A commitment to creating inclusive teaching environments where allstudents can succeed.Prior teaching or mentorship experience in the biological sciences.Required Application Materials:
