JOB REQUIREMENTS: Overview Full time benefits. Cares for and treatspatients in medical office, as directed by Physician, by performing thefollowing duties. Performs other duties as assigned with scope ofpractice. Responsibilities Rooms and collects patient assessment data.Administers injections and medications. Performs other patient careprocedures as directed and according to established criteria. Assistsprovider during treatment, testing, and examinations. Performs EKG\'s,simple lab tests and collects venous blood specimens. Maintains timelyflow of patients. Provides patient and family education. Documentspatient care and related information. Responds to incoming phone calls.Performs telephone triaging of patients. Follows up on patient care asneeded. Reviews and maintains charts. Participates in Quality andPerformance Improvement. May be required to work alternate shifts andweekends. Performs other duties as assigned. Education and ExperienceGraduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN or upon hire BSNcompletion agreement for enrollment in an accredited BSN program.Certification/Licensure Licensed as an RN in State of practice ApprovedCPR or BLS certification required within 90 days (Other certificationper department requirement/eligible: ACLS) Special Physical Demands TheSpecial Physical Demands are considered Essential Job Functions of theposition with or without reasonable accommodations.
