*General Summary: *The Clinic Manager oversees the daily operations of a medical clinic. Duties include overseeing patient relations, personnel administration, and the facility's fiscal management. The Clinic Manager provides guidance and implies staff expectation to run the clinic professionally and profitably. Ensures that the primary clinic follows the overall objectives, mission, and goals and provide guidance to staff.
Essential Functions:
Screening, hiring and supervising personnel.Developing and enforcing policies and procedures.Ensuring optimal patient relations.Develop and get approval of budgets and pay scales.Supervises end of the day closing activities.Assists Medical Director with Quarterly staff meetings.Develops and implements business operating procedures.Ensures compliance with Rural Health Clinic regulations.Serve as a liaison with staff and hospital administration.Assists in developing business office related policies for the clinic.Serves as computer system administration for the clinic including troubleshooting, training staff on initial use of the system, providing ongoing training.Coordinates the accounts payable process.Administers front office schedules and coordinates both nursing and provider schedules to ensure proper staffing at the clinic.Organize billing discrepancies in conjunction with the Choctaw Regional Medical Center.
