What the day will look like
Client/network engagement:
Relationship development/management (clients and/or network).
Understanding the Client’s business and insurance requirements and providing technical advice to Clients/Networks.
Review/tailor MRC’s/MRCe’s to ensure that Client’s insurance needs are met with optimum coverage.
Analysing data and preparing submissions/presentations to Markets/Clients and/or Networks.
Present terms to Clients and/or Networks, including RFP responses.
Market Broking:
Challenge / assist brokers in developing marketing strategies / program design
Establish and develop effective working relationships with Insurers.
General:
Work with account executives and brokers to co-ordinate:
Use of PPL and other London market / Aon proprietary systems
File maintenance and management including marketing sheets
ECM/critical document/KPI management
Providing checklists/instructions/calculations to Client Service Delivery and Processing Teams.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
Experience in any Renewable Energy or Property Operational or Construction insurances
Sound technical understanding of coverage and wordings – ability to review or challenge coverage
Ability to develop strong relationships with clients ensuring high retention rates and expanded business opportunities:
Instigate / drive renewal discussions with network offices
Offer thought leadership with regards to program design and marketing, coverage, expanded business opportunities
Consider wider Aon product lines to deliver broader risk solutions and expanded relationship to clients
Take an active / leading role in client meetings
Take an active role in lead market / challenging market meetings and negotiations, where appropriate
Active involvement in tenders, ensuing output is well written, creative and thought provoking
Ownership of potential new business opportunities and involvement in regional sales activities
Be a go to person in and help team leaders mentor more junior members
Policy documentation and premium worksheet preparation / oversight
Liaison with Client Service Delivery team to ensure accounts are managed in a compliant and timely manner (use of Brokasure / PPL / invoicing / KPIs, for example)
