Description:

　　General Description:

　　The CLIA Lab Technician will work with the General and Technical Supervisors to ensure the success of department goals and efforts. Will be required to be proactive to complete tasks and assignments given; if an issue or problem arises, they are expected to report to the General Supervisor. The CLIA Lab Technician will also diligently and routinely participate in laboratory cleaning according to established SOPs. Additionally, troubleshooting and the ability to use logic to find solutions to problems are important.

　　The functions of this position will be performed under supervision and is expected to complete assigned duties in a timely manner and with acceptable quality.

　　Essential Functions:

　　• Will be responsible for sample accession, sample testing, and sample reporting.

　　• Will be responsible for performing routine proficiency testing.

　　• Required to perform operational qualification on the instruments.

　　• Must follow all lab policies and procedures.

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　This role is a weekend shift and 3 days during the week. For the hours worked on the weekend they will receive a 20% differential. (Wed-Sun)
