Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland & East Central Ohio is hiring a full-time Box Truck and Class A CDL Driver to be based out of their East Cleveland warehouse.

　　In this role, you will drive agency vehicles helping to transport materials to and from donation centers and retail stores.

　　Requirements:

　　Two years of previous truck driving experience

　　Valid Class A CDL license

　　Tow Motor Certification preferred

　　Essential Functions:

　　Drives Box Truck to collect and transport materials from specified ADCs to linked retail locations.

　　Drives over predetermined routes to a destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and roads in the area.

　　Available to drive Tractor Trailer on an as-needed basis.

　　Completes manifest after each pickup and delivery.

　　Provides help and on-site assistance with donations to ensure that work is performed on time and per company policies and procedures.

　　Manually loads trucks and arranges articles to form a safe and efficient load.

　　Inspects vehicle equipment and supplies before commencing the day's activities and report any malfunctions of truck or equipment to the supervisor, to ensure safe working conditions.

　　Operates vehicle safely. Adheres to all agency safety/security policies, procedures, and or practices.

　　Maintains vehicles in a clean, neat, and safe manner through regularly scheduled cleanings, following the organization's policies and procedures

　　Performs routine maintenance checks (i.e., fluid levels, etc.) on vehicles on time, per the organization's policies and procedures.

　　Attends in-service and related training as assigned by the transportation manager.

　　Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

　　WORK CONDITIONS:

　　Must comply with DOT physical examination requirements

　　A safety-sensitive position requiring drug and alcohol testing upon hire

　　Subject to random drug and alcohol testing during employment

　　Must be able to perform physical requirements of the position including but not limited to constant sitting, bilateral handling, and key pinch grip; frequent climbing, stooping/bending, and bilateral reaching; occasional standing, walking, balancing, crouching/squatting and kneeling; frequent talking in-person/public and hearing; good visual acuity is required; be able to lift/carry up to 51-100 lbs. a distance of up to 10 feet; occasionally push/pull up to 50 lbs. at varying distances
