DESCRIPTION OF WORKIn this role, you will provide clerical support to the Station Commander and other personnel by ensuring the station's clerical and administrative operations are conducted efficiently and effectively. You will prepare correspondence and reports; transcribe taped communications and other audio recordings; maintain a filing system; order office supplies; and utilize computer systems to manage staff schedules and appointments.

Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per weekWork hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title); orGraduation from high school; orAn equivalent combination of experience and training.Additional Requirements:You must have two years of experience using Microsoft Word and Outlook.You must have two years of experience proofreading and editing various types of materials to ensure grammatical correctness and completeness.You must have two years of experience working in a position that required processing invoices and payments.You must have two years of experience utilizing various office equipment such as a personal computer, copying machine, scanner and facsimile machine.You must have one year of experience working in a position that required learning and adapting to new computer programs.You must have one years of experience working in a position that requires maintaining a filing system.You must be able to perform essential job functions.Legal Requirements:You must pass criminal history and background investigations.How to Apply:
