We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Clerical Assistant 2 in our Harrisburg office.   DESCRIPTION OF WORK

  As a Clerical Assistant 2, your main duties will involve determining the proper issuance of a suspension, rescinding records, reinstatements, restorations, citations, renewals, and processing complied records of a motorist’s vehicle registration. You will also determine the denial or issuance of registration plate and cards and if an application should be rejected or processed with the documentation provided. In this role, you will complete phone verifications to insurance agents and departments to obtain information regarding the customers financial responsibility and request documentation from the insurance company regarding lapse in insurance coverage. Additionally, you will open, track, and process certified mail received in the Financial Responsibility Section.

  Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  Full-time employment

  Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.

  Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

  REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

  QUALIFICATIONS

  Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (commonwealth title);or

  Graduation from high school; or

  An equivalent combination of experience and training.

  Additional Requirement:

  You must be able to perform essential job functions.
