　　Position DetailsThe Classroom Aide is a school employee who works under the direction of a certified staff member to support and assist in providing instructional programs and services to children with disabilities or eligible young children. The support and assistance include one-on-one, or group review, of material taught by certificated staff, classroom management, and implementation of positive behavioral support plans.

　　The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:Required:Minimum High school diploma/GED andMeet a rigorous standard of quality through completion of Credential of Competency for Special Education Para-educators in Pennsylvania.5 years' relevant verifiable experience.OrHave completed at least 2 years of post-secondary study; orPossess an associate degree or higher.1 - 3 years relevant verifiable experienceAssociate degree or higher is preferred.
