Will be working in the cost containmentdepartment, which is part of the claims department. Job duties includeentering and registering incoming workers comp bills and claims into thedatabase, reviewing and processing documents and records, and ensuringthe accuracy of the documents and records. Environment is fast paced,requiring attention to detail and the ability to multitask withinterruptions. Ideal candidate will have very strong typing and 10-keyskills and be very detail-oriented. Any experience with medical codingand terminology and/or insurance industry knowledge is a plus. Positionis temporary and expected to be 6-8 months in length, with a possibilityof temp to hire based on companys hiring needs. Pay rate is \$18/hr.,and schedule is Monday Friday, 7:30am 4pm.
