Civil Project Manager - Renewables, Denver, COWestwood Professional Services, Inc.Westwood Professional Services, Inc.is seeking a Civil Project Managertojoin our Renewables team in our Denver, CO office. Westwood has a highlyexperienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-levelprofessional services to our clients. The role is responsible for the overalldirection, coordination, implementation, execution, qualityassurance/quality control, and completion of civil engineering design onrenewable projects. We are looking for a detail-oriented design engineer tojoin our highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated toproviding high-level professional services to our clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
Lead and perform all aspects of civil design and technical solutions forutility-scale renewable projects.Provide leadership, management, and mentorship for the design team.Define project tasks, schedule, and resource requirements.Conduct team meetings and coordinate with other professional disciplines toexecute successful project delivery.Prepare and provide support with project proposals.Prepare budget on assigned projects and review invoicing under the directionof a Project Manager.Identify additional scope and revenue opportunities that relate to the projectand participates in business development activities.Provide on-going communication with the client related to the project.Establish goals for project deliverables and maintain QA/QC goals.
Required Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program.Must have 5-8 years of experience in discipline within the A&E industry.Must be detail oriented and efficient in problem solving.EIT certification required, PE preferred.Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with department personnel andoffice staff; must possess strong oral and written communication skills.Proficient with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.Extensive experience in county and state permitting preferred.Good mentoring skills.Excellent time management skills.Possess the ability to change focus quickly during a typical day.Positive and solution orientated approach to problems.
Preferred Experience
Ideal candidate will have experience in renewable energy or display passion tolearn about the renewable energy industry.Experience managing Land Development or Public Infrastructure projects
Compensation Range Minimum
USD $90,000.00/Yr.
Compensation Range Maximum
USD $100,000.00/Yr.
