  DescriptionRESPONSIBILITIESIdentify business leads and prospects for future opportunities, including providing general Bank information and cross selling servicesMeet with and interview applicants to review and evaluate loan requests, including loan alternatives, credit criteria, interest rates, and necessary loan documentationPrepare, or assist in preparing with Credit Analysts, written submission for consideration by the appropriate loan approval authorityStructure loans within loan policyIdentify problems or potential problems with credit information and coordinate with the necessary party to resolve the problemsPrepare loan proposals consistent with the loan approval for presentation to applicantsReview loan documents and related closing documentation for accuracy and consistency with approvalMonitor construction loans including budgets, loan advances, conducting property inspections and all related documentation required by loan policyManage loan portfolio including renewals, modifications, covenant tracking, financial statement collection, collections, and general portfolio monitoringHandle more complex loan requests, issues and problems, and refer only the most complex to Commercial Lender III or Commercial Lending ManagerParticipate in identifying, measuring, monitoring, controlling and mitigating departmental and enterprise-wide risksMaintain awareness of and adherence to Bank's compliance requirements and risk management concepts, expectations, policies and procedures and apply them to daily tasksDeliver a consistent, high level of service within our Service Excellence standardsOther duties as assignedCOMPETENCIESInterpersonal/Customer Service SkillsWritten and Verbal CommunicationAbility to understand and follow directionsAdaptable to changeBasic Computer SkillsOrganizational Skills/Detail OrientedAnalytical ThinkingAble to Multi-Task or Juggle PrioritiesProblem/Situation AnalysisTechnical ExpertiseStrategic Planning and Decision MakingCreativityCompetencyLeadership/Management SkillsAbility to influence othersAbility to build collaborative relationshipsAbility to develop or mentor othersAbility to work as part of a teamEDUCATION - CERTIFICATIONS - WORK EXPERIENCEAt a minimum, employees must obtain a HS Diploma or GEDBachelor's degree or equivalent experience as a commercial sales officer preferredMinimum of 5 years commercial lending experience requiredSCHEDULETypical office hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. This position is exempt and full-time. A minimum 40 hours is required per week.A flexible work arrangement is available for this position. The position will require some scheduled onsite hours. Please speak to the hiring manager for more information.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThis position must be able to remain in a stationary position a maximum of 50% of the time, constantly operate a computer up to 50% of the time and be able to be in constant communication with coworkers, customers, or stakeholders to discuss and observe facts and data in order to exchange accurate information.TRAVEL REQUIREMENTSTravel to customers and prospects is expectedPark National Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
