Based in McPherson, KS, our work is primarily within a 2 hour radius. We specialize in earthwork, site utilities; including water, sewer and storm, Industrial Piping and plant maintenance, structural concrete and concrete paving, General Construction and Construction Management building and remodeling work.   Civil Estimator specializing in earthwork, underground utilities and concrete work to join our team. This position involves key responsibilities with a background in the construction industry.

  Responsibilities:- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and estimate costs- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates- Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs- Review and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers- Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and identify potential challenges or opportunities- Present estimates to clients and participate in negotiations- Maintain accurate records of estimates, including all supporting documentation

  Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred- 5-10+ years of proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry- Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills- Attention to detail and accuracy in estimating costs, especially self-performance Civil Construction work- Strong communication and negotiation skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  Job Type: Full-time

  Salary: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
