DESCRIPTION OF WORK:This position involves engineering work in the design and preparation of a wide variety of moderately complex bridge and structural plans, maps, and similar drawings. In this position, you will use sound engineering judgement in order to prepare bridge and structural plans using field surveys under the direction of a bridge and structural design supervisor and/or senior civil engineer supervisor. You will also be responsible in the design of less complex bridge and structural projects from preliminary engineering through final plan preparation.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment.Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:Five years of civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty, and an Engineer-in-Training certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists; orSuccessful completion of the Civil Engineer Trainee training program (commonwealth title); orOne year of civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty, and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a closely related engineering discipline; orFour years of civil engineering experience in the appropriate specialty, and an engineer-in-training certificate issued by or acceptable to the Pennsylvania State Registration Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists, and an associate's degree in civil engineering technology or a closely related engineering discipline.Conditions of Employment:
This position requires possession of a valid Class C driver's license.Other Requirements:
