POSITION: City Carrier Assistant I.

　　DUTIES: Deliver and collect mail on foot or by vehicle under varyingroad and weather conditions in a prescribed area; maintains professional andeffective public relations with customers and others, requiring a generalfamiliarity with postal laws, regulations, products and geography of thearea. Uses portable electronic scanner as instructed. Some clerical duties maybe required. Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds. This is aphysical position where you will need to be able to walk, bend, stoop andmove at a fast pace.

　　OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Qualified applicants must successfully pass apre-employment drug screening to meet the requirement to be drug free.Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or have permanent resident alien status.Must have a valid state driver's license, maintain a safe driving recordand at least two years of documented driving experience. Must submit to abackground screen. Will be required to take a written exam once yousuccessfully submit your application. Must be physically able to efficientlyperform the duties of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.This position's duties require arduous exertion involving prolongedstanding, walking, bending and reaching, and may involve handling heavycontainers.

　　WAGE: $19.33 per hour paid bi-weekly.

　　SHIFTS: This is a part time regular position to be approximately 25 hoursper week, days to vary. Will be required to work Saturdays and weekdays asneeded. Work days may include Sundays and holidays.

　　JOB SITE: Leadville, CO area.

　　BENEFITS: Limited benefits include raises, paid vacation days and accessto health insurance as required by law or after the first 360-day term,whichever comes first. Will be paid for 6 holidays at 6 hours for eachholiday. Benefits to be discussed further upon hire.
