In the role ofIS Support Engineer IIyou will beworking in Finance Administration.Purpose Triage, Resolve, and Route customer incidents / requests in atimely and accurate manner. Resolves the majority of all customer issuesupon the first contact, to provide the highest level of IT Service whileminimizing / avoiding hierarchal escalations. Acts as a single point ofcontact and one stop shop for customer base. Primary Functions Acts as asingle point of contact while providing multi-tier support for allincoming software, hardware, account, security, and network issues forinternal and external customers Provides application support /configuration of (2800+ Apps) for the internal faculty, staff, andstudents to maintain efficient endpoint computing. Manages and maintainsActive Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 to ensure accuratecreation, termination, and compliance of accounts, distribution lists,security groups, calendars, and contacts for internal and externalcustomers. Grants adds / changes of file / folder permissions withinnetwork and cloud file systems to ensure proper security and complianceMaintains, designs, and implements changes to internal team databasesincluding but not limited to the ITSM, AI Bot, CMDB, Remote Access, andAnti-Malware systems Implements / Manages Software License Compliancefor all existing and new software titles, which are resold internallywithin the company to ensure contract compliance with software vendorpartners Manages Software and Hardware lifecycle management to ensurecustomers are leveraging the most up to date computing hardware, andmost up to date secure software versions to minimize securityvulnerabilities. Performs and manages Software Deployment / PatchManagement including the scripting (powershell, bash, batch) of softwarepackages within RMM / automation tools to ensure proper distribution,patching of software titles across 10,000+ endpoints Performs andmanages MDM technologies to ensure proper security, policies, and OSupdating across the endpoints Manages Multi-Factor-Authenticationsystems including granting accounts, troubleshooting connection issues,and responding to fraudulent reports. Responds to and remediates malwareinfections (scareware, viruses, ransomware, etc) immediately. Files allsecurity incident reports. Makes recommendations on future infectionprevention.
