　　Our Foundry team in Cedar Falls, IA, is looking for someone who excels in a fast-paced environment. This position is on 1st shift, eligible for regular wage adjustments and benefits after 60 days.

　　PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　Grind castings per instructions

　　Change and dress grinding wheels

　　Select the proper tools for application

　　Identify equipment malfunctions

　　Operational knowledge of air supplied hoods

　　Identify scrap and/or defective castings and report to Supervisor/Management

　　Operate hoists and other lifting devices

　　Occasionally required to help/assist new or transferred employees

　　Must exercise proper care of tools and equipment

　　Must be able to work mandatory overtime as needed

　　EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

　　High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

　　Participation in any medical examinations required by law or federal regulations.EQUIPMENT/TOOLS:

　　Grinding wheels

　　Pneumatic or electric hand grinders

　　Pneumatic chipper

　　Hand tools

　　Lifting equipment and devices

　　WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:

　　Ability to lift up to 35 pounds on a regular basis and up to 70 pounds on a periodic basis.

　　Stand for extended periods of time up to 10 hours per day.

　　Required to wear respirator or air-supplied hoods.

　　Ability to move within office and manufacturing complex and write by hand and/or type.

　　Ability to communicate by speech and hearing via phone and in person.

　　Visual acuity needed for close detail work and computer use.

　　Exposed to any number of elements, but none continuously present to the extent of being disagreeable.
