Position: Child Welfare Clerk I, II, III
Duties: This position provides extensive clerical support for the entireChild Welfare Division, coordinates all aspects of Foster CareReviews, coordinates the completion of IV-E foster care determination, andacts as Maintenance of Effort liaison. This position ensures vital documentsfor youth in the custody of the Department are in the case file. Serves as anotary for child welfare.
Requirements:Level I - Graduation from high school or GED equivalency. Six (6) monthsfull time, paid or unpaid, experience involving extensive public contact.Level II - Graduation from high school or GED equivalency. Two (2) yearsfull time office experience which includes typing or word processing,processing, filing and other general office functions.Substitutions Level I and Level II: Successful completion of appropriatecourse work obtained beyond high school may substitutefor the required experience on a month for month basis.Level III - Graduation from high school or GED equivalency. Minimum of one(1) year full time, paid experience in a social services agency in thisjob classification at the Skill Level II.
Proof of valid Colorado driver's license, vehicle in safe operatingcondition, and liability insurance must be on file at all times. Completeinitial training and certification to become a notary.
Other Requirements:Must be able to pass a nationwide background check.
Wage: $17.52-$20.44 per hour, depending on qualifications.
Shift: Full time, discuss days and hours with employer.
Job Site: Fremont County, Colorado.
