Description

　　SAIC’s National Security & Space Group is seeking a Chief Systems Integrator to fill a critical position in the Systems Integration and Ground (SIG) portfolio. The position is in Chantilly, VA and requires an active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to upgrade to a Polygraph . The SIG portfolio comprises numerous contracts supporting multiple customers across the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Intelligence Enterprise, focused on the acquisition of systems over the complete end-to-end life cycle.

　　The Chief Systems Integrator (CSI) will lead and manage a new portfolio level functional team, providing prioritized Systems Integration support across a broad set of DoD and Intelligence programs. You will work side-by-side with program leadership and staff comprised of world class System Engineers, Systems Architects, Integration and Domain Experts providing integration solutions across the portfolio.

　　Responsibilities include:

　　Lead, build and manage the Systems Integration Team

　　Serve as the Systems Integration discipline steward across portfolio

　　Actively drive and develop innovative solutions to complex technical challenges and communicate solutions to Customer and Corporate leadership

　　Provide technical leadership, guidance and direct support to programs on architecture development, development approaches, interface closure and integration and deployment methodologies

　　Drive collaboration, situational awareness and understanding across the team and programs

　　Lead and oversee in-depth reviews and analysis of program plans

　　Conduct executive level presentations and written reports

　　Identify, document and manage risks, assumptions, dependencies and escalation

　　Reports to Vice President of Systems Integration and Ground Programs

　　Qualifications

　　Required:

　　Active TS/SCI Clearance with ability to upgrade to a Polygraph

　　Bachelor’s degree and 14 years’ experience, Master's degree and 12 years' experience

　　Familiarity with IC and/or DoD space architectures, systems, and/or operations

　　Strong organizational, time-management, and verbal / written communication skills; able to convey information across multiple customer and corporate audiences

　　Demonstrated successful performance in IT, Computer Application and/or Space systems integration

　　Capability to adapt to fluid situations and prioritize taskings in a dynamic environment

　　Desired:

　　Professional certification such as IASAE or DAWIA

　　MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related technical degree with a minimum of 18 years’ related experience in an engineering environment

　　Experience in all aspects of the engineering process from requirements analysis through verification testing

　　Experience in a Systems Engineering Integration and Test environment for complex systems, specifically Space and Ground systems supporting DoD and/or IC Space programs
