　　Job Description As a Chief Systems Architect, you will be the cornerstone of our technological advancements. Will be tasked with crafting secure, robust, and scalable architectures, vetting new technologies, and defining software development principles & standards. Your role will be instrumental in redefining the projectile of our commerce platform and driving engineering excellence.

　　Key Responsibilities:

　　Lead Proof of Concept solutions to vet proposed technologies.Build and mentor architects to create secure, robust, scalable, and reusable systems.Define platform principles and standards, ensuring alignment across solutions.Increase execution velocity by enhancing existing Visa shared assets.Define efficient deployment topologies in collaboration with peers.Influence adoption of new and changing technologies and practices.Lead key Visa and Cybersource technology initiatives. Work Arrangement:

　　This is a hybrid position. You will have the flexibility to alternate between remote and office work. The general guidepost is being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

　　Qualifications Basic Qualifications

　　18+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree.Proficiency in Java, API design, and system/component design and documentation.Proficient experience and skills in micro-services, service mesh, containers, and DevOps.Strong communication & interpersonal skills. Comfortable facilitating multi-team activities.Proven leadership skills. Able to influence and develop relationships with key partners.Experience in delivering enterprise-class, critically important, commercial, and scalable products in an Architect in the last 3 years.Experience in security domains like web & backend, B2B security, authentication, authorization, and encryption.Experience with web services standards, hands-on with technologies like HTTPS, REST, JSON.Experience working with a multiple Application Servers and Databases such as Tomcat and MS SQL Server.Experience with opensource database technologies such as MongoDB, Cassandra, and messaging middleware such as Kafka, ZMQ.Experience in authentication & authorization is a plus.
