Summary You will serve as a Chief of Staff in the Cyber Engineering and Digital Transformation Directorate (SEA 03) of NAVSEA HQ FIELD SUPPORT. Responsibilities You will manage internal and external relationships. You will direct, manage and supervise a front office organization which provides essential services and direct support for programs and workforce. You will serve as the trusted advisor to leadership in all areas of the organization including the development, execution, and continuity of policies, programs, and operations. You will exercise professional judgment, initiative, and executive leadership in directing strategic administrative, budget, workforce functions along with managerial aspects of the organization within delegated authority. You will serve as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders to address complex inquiries and deliverables, usually on short notice, that potentially require multiple sources of data. You will manage the formulation, coordination, review, and evaluation of organization operating policies, regulations, and procedures and their effectiveness. You will provide and follow-up of organization-directed assignments and assures that the organizational goals, objectives, and deadlines are met. You will develop long range plans consistent with the strategic vision of the organization, exercising a high degree of originality and judgment in accomplishing responsibilities that contribute in guiding and shaping the future of the organization. You will ensure resources required by the organization are managed within the framework of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution System (PPBES). Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level/pay band NH-03 (GS-13) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector developing and executing policies, programs and operations to maintain organizational awareness for meeting organizational goals and objectives.
