This role sits within the WorkSmarter team, which is a firmwide initiative focused on improving how individuals, teams, and large-scale organizations work together using technology. The group directly supports Lines of Business (LOB), Corporate, and Technology groups in identifying, assessing, and scaling technology solutions directly to employees. The team partners with senior business and operations executives to lead strategic reviews and change management engagements, with technology product owners and external vendors to identify, pilot and assess technology solutions, and with transformation and functional groups to directly scale content to employees. The team also creates resources to market tool benefits and train employees and develops metrics to capture impact related to all program activities, including user engagement, sentiment, and tool adoption.
The team is looking for an Associate who can support efforts related to work with business partners.
Job Responsibilities:
• Supporting strategic reviews to continue to grow the program firmwide
• Supporting end-to-end planning and execution activities related to high-priority engagements, including project management activities, presentation creation, and executive-level reviews
• Building an in-depth understanding of technology solutions to identify and translate key benefits to individuals, teams, and large organizations
• Developing resources related to everyday technology solutions and benefits to be shared with employees firmwide ongoing
• Organizing forums to with business leads and functional partners to ensure progress on topics such as vendor strategy, governance, training, adoption, and process improvement areas
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
• Experience - 2-4 years of experience in relevant industry (financial services or technology) and relevant role (innovation, management consulting, or change management)
• Execution and project management skills - Ability to quickly distill and organize broad-ranging information into a discrete set of activities and consistently impact results
• Interpersonal skills - Ability to partner with team members, internal clients, and various program stakeholders to support in-flight initiatives and key priorities
• Communication skills - Ability to create written presentations for executive-level audiences and firmwide employee use, to engage key stakeholders and lead discussions in multiple forums, and to directly deliver presentations to large audiences
• Technical skills - Ability to leverage core technologies (e.g., proficiency in Microsoft Suite) ability to quickly learn additional technologies (e.g., web design, automation tools)
• Interest - A passion for technology and transformation-based initiatives; clear entrepreneurial spirit with ability to bring creative solutions to new opportunities
