The Position
Manage day-to-day financial activities for the organisation aligned to the functional strategy and operational direction for the department and compliance with regulations.
Provide reporting, analysis and advice to internal business partners and external organisations for business sustainability.
Adapt and implement financial and administrative strategy, policies and procedures for Indonesia in consultation with functional responsibilities in MSI and management team in Indonesia to effectively manage commercial, legal and organizational risk in the country.
Control and coordination of all activities in the areas of Central Finance, Accounting, Taxation, Treasury, Audit, and local liaison with MSI.
Maintain necessary contact with MSI colleagues in Kuala Lumpur, customers, industry associations and government representatives to ensure the smooth running of the business.
Duties & Responsibilities
Financial, Accounting & Controlling:
Oversee end to end interim & year-end audit
Oversee the planning and execution of year end reporting
Analyze the organization's revenues, liabilities, credit conditions, and other financial indicators to forecast it's short, medium, and long-term cash flow position
Oversee the preparation and lodgment of statutory accounts
Oversee GBS co-ordination for Indonesia in close working together with MSI and ROPU Center
Taxation:
Perform monthly and year-end tax reporting and tax reconciliation
Coordinate, handle, and key contact for tax audit
Support/advice for tax matters to business partners
Responsible for maintaining local document retention policies for tax purpose
Oversee the completion of tax reporting
Oversee the preparation of FS1 and Country-by-Country reports for Corporate
Treasury:
Administer bank accounts
Conduct long term liquidity planning
Manage intercompany loans
Manage dividend process (if any)
Act as key contact for central & regional Treasury
Responsible person for maintaining Bank transactions and report submission to Corporate and Central Bank (Bank of Indonesia)
Support Finance team in Company Credit Card escalations
Support payroll process and reporting

To manage company's finance topic (accounting, tax, custom, liquidity management), Planning (Strategic Planning, Long Term Forecast, Outlook)and Reporting (all financial reporting to HQ, local management, and external parties). This position is also a business partner role who support Business Unit head and Functional Manager in decision making and monitoring. Act as lead contact for local external auditors and other regulatory authorities and is finally accountable for generation of globally consistent, compliant and timely Financial Statements.Requirements
Bachelor of Business/ Accounting
Professional qualification (CPA or CA)
Total minimum 10 years experience with 5 years in accounting
BI Accounting policies, German and Local GAAP
Requires minimal supervision
Capable to manage complex tasks and work with ambiguity
Knowledge and responsibility for managing the company's financial risk
Oversees activities across multiple accounting areas (payable, receivable, credit collections, controlling and tax)
Interaction with GBS centres, enabling functions, business units (varying levels of management), Corporate, external accounting & tax advisers, and tax authorities.
Applies deep and broad understanding of accounting concepts and practice
Ensures the correct planning, reporting and management of inter-related MSI businesses and leads innovation and/or continuous improvement to advantage the BU and/or local, regional & globalFinance teams
