　　Maxim Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Lab Supervisor for Chemistry Lab in a hospital setting.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Assures day to day responsibility for overall operations, activities, and staff within the laboratory

　　Performs and supervises the execution of diverse tests and procedures

　　Participate in collective bargaining negotiations, caucus discussions and working meetings

　　Initiate, authorize and complete disciplinary action pursuant to system rules, policies, procedures and provision of applicable collective bargaining agreements

　　Contribute to the management of staff and and systematic development and success

　　Minimum Requirements:

　　Bachelor's degree or higher in Medical Technology or the applicable scientific field of study from an accredited college or university.

　　Must qualify as a Medical Technologist *as defined by the Illinois Clinical Laboratories Code

　　Six (6) years of full time, professional work experience with clinical experience in chemistry

　　Two (2) years of administrative, technical, and/or lead oversight for the delivery of clinical laboratory services.

　　National certification as a Technologist through ASCP, AMT, or AAB is mandatory.
