Acculam, a dynamic and growing organization, located in Falmouth,Massachusetts, is looking for multiple individuals from entry level upto 10 years of manufacturing experience. We manufacture advancedcomposite sheet, plate, rod, and tubes. These products are used in awide variety of applications ranging from but not limited to industrial,medical, defense, recreational, electronics and aerospace. Duties andResponsibilities: Design/development/implementation of new products.Re-design of existing products and processes. Design experimentssupporting new product and process development. Conduct processdevelopment of new processes. Conduct troubleshooting of present processissues. Qualify new resin formulation feedstock sources. Conduct testingof materials and products. Optimize current processes to: Reduce scrap.Reduce downtime. Improve quality. Increase throughput. Document newprocedures in support of product development and process development.Provide technical service to sales and the marketplace. Investigatenon-conformances, determine root cause and corrective action. Assist inmaintaining the Quality Management System. Assist in maintainingenvironmental data collection and reporting. Requirements: Minimum of aBS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Plastics Engineering orequivalent. Plastics/Composites experience strongly preferred. Thermosetresin experience, especially epoxy, is strongly preferred. Reports tothe Manager of Technology and Quality.
