TITLE: Regional Charter Coordinator DIVISION School BusOperations LOCATION: Cambridge, WI REPORTS TO: VP of Operations-SouthRegion STATUS Full-time Hourly POSITION OVERVIEW Contributes to andsupports all operational tasks. Follows established working plans andsystems for school bus, charters, and other requested transportationthat contribute to safe, on-time and consistent service to allcustomers - including school districts, businesses and general public.Performs other duties as assigned with commitment to safety and customerservice. Has onsite shared responsibility for processing routingchanges/updates and maintaining school bus routes in addition to otheradministrative and operational activities for School Bus Terminals tocomply with federal, state and DOT requirements regarding schedulingdrivers and safety. Organizes paperwork and filing, maintains recordsand logs, payroll preparation and utilizes routing system foroperational purposes. Carries out working plans and systems for schoolbus, charters, and other requested transportation that contributes tosafe, on-time and consistent service to school districts, businesses andthe general public. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: Work cooperatively withall staff members to ensure operations run smooth and efficient. Developand maintain positive relationships with school officials, schooldistrict and contract work personnel and the General Public. Learn theschool districts or new areas to know all routes and be able to assistdrivers in learning routes and keeping routes updated. Coordinate thegathering and tracking of route/student data needed for the statetransportation report and other internal/external projects as requested.Maintain the daily dispatch log and make recommendations to theTerminal/Operations Manager for necessary route package adjustments asneeded. Learn and execute the established processes to ensure BusCamera/DVR system are functioning properly with working audio and videoto include viewing and archiving segments requested. Communicate studentdiscipline reports to appropriate school administrators with directionfrom Terminal/Operations Manager as needed following establishedprocesses. Provide feedback to drivers regarding recommended studentdisciplinary action as directed by school administrators andTerminal/Operations Manager. Learn the procedures and responsibilitiesof the Charter Area, i.e. scheduling, order taking, pricing billing,charges and follow up and prepare paperwork appropriately filling in asassigned.
