　　Summary:

　　The Clinical Nurse III Wound Care independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process, clinical standards and protocols and delegates appropriate care activities to other members of the health care team. Responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization. Acts as a mentor and resource expert, supports and shares organizational information to all team members. Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse. Required education BSN or BS Healthcare related field or an RN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification within 7 months of hire/promotion. Required Experience includes 1 year nursing experience, 18 months acute care experience or 18 months Interventional/Procedural.
