Regions Hospital is looking to hire an exceptional, patient focused Charge RN to join our Med/Surg Unit and make a difference for our patients and our community. This unit is a newly opened 12 private bed med-surg unit focused on inpatient medical surgical and cardiac telemetry patients. Therefore, our unit provides a widespread knowledge and experience base for our nurses. We are known for saving lives in our Level I Trauma Center, and our nursing staff are key to the exceptional care we provide each patient. As a nursing professional you will be empowered to manage your clinical practice and working environment through our Shared Governance Model, which focuses on evidence-based nursing practice. Work Schedule: 0.75 Nights, all 12 hour shifts. Every 3rd weekend rotation. Required Qualifications: *Degree in Nursing *Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota *CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers Preferred Qualifications: *BSN/MSN strongly preferred and generally expected that BSN/MSN is obtained within 5 years of hire *Two (2) years experience in area of specialty preferred at 0.8 FTE, or above (minimum of 3328 hours).
