We have an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated Chaplain to join our team at National Lutheran Communities & Services. As a Chaplain, you will play a vital role in providing spiritual care and support to our residents and their families.
Your responsibilities will include providing pastoral counseling, leading worship services, conducting religious ceremonies, and offering emotional and spiritual support to individuals facing challenging life situations. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that the spiritual needs of our residents are met and that they receive the support and guidance they need during their time at our communities.
Requirements
Master's degree in Divinity or related field from an accredited seminary
Ordination or endorsement by a recognized religious organization
Experience providing pastoral care and counseling in a healthcare or senior living setting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and multicultural environment
Understanding of and respect for various religious and spiritual traditions
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
Availability for occasional evening and weekend hours as needed
