　　Job Description:

　　Highland Hospital is seeking a Per Diem Chaplain. The Per Diem Chaplain will provide spiritual care for patients, family and staff. The Chaplain will function as an interdisciplinary member of the patient unit care teams addressing emotional, spiritual and other support needs. 1-2 weekend in-house shifts per month, 1 on-call overnight shift from home per week, availability to cover occasional weekday or weeknight shifts when regular staff is absent

　　Salary Range:

　　$21.00 - $27.60 an hour

　　The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

　　Job Requirements:

　　Masters of Divinity or Master’s Degree in related field required or in progress

　　A minimum of one unit of CPE required

　　Ordination or commission to function in ministry by an appropriate religious authority preferred

　　Board Certification preferred

　　Faith group endorsement as a chaplain or equivalent required

　　A broad interfaith theological knowledge base and familiarity with the diversity of religious experience across cultures.

　　A knowledge of both the practice and the management of Spiritual Care in a health care setting preferred.
