As our global footprint continues to spread across the world, we are looking for a Certification Program Specialist. Supporting our Global Market Access (GMA) team, the role is ideal for a self-starter and energetic professional with the drive and ability to grow and maintain key certification schemes and processes.
The role can be based in our office in Milan or Barcelona or Dubai or Riyadh and this is an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact in implementing our certification schemes and related processes Globally, attending regulatory meetings in several countries.
As a UL Certification Program Specialist, you will:
Interface with business unit stakeholders to ensure that certification programs meet customer and internal stakeholder needs and expectations.
Lead and contribute to the preparation of written outputs of high quality and technical accuracy.
Gain and maintain detailed knowledge of key regulations and standards related to assigned schemes and processes.
Act as global key expert contact for compliance requirements to comply with the assigned schemes and processes.
Coordinate the development of contacts and relationships with the appropriate regulatory and standardization authorities and actively attend and contribute to regulatory meetings around the world.
Work with global GMA leads and regional teams to develop and implement market access services and grow the business.
Provide point-of-access support to address any local acceptance issues.
Coordinate the tracking and communication of upcoming regulatory changes that impact multiple industries.
Lead impact analysis of regulatory changes for applicable schemes and processes.
Keep GMA knowledge tools and information up to date including news and impact by scheme and product type.
Lead/support training and scheme implementation activities.
The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the testing and certification field either at a manufacturer or TIC service supplier.
Deep knowledge of the IECEE CB Scheme and other international schemes and standards.
Deep knowledge of the Testing Inspection and Certification business and the industries in which the business functions. Understanding of scheme operation requirements and ability to connect those to business needs.
Natural influencing skills, confident and be able to deliver the message.
Ability to network and build relationship with internal and external stakeholders and lead/facilitate collaboration toward a common goal.
Excellent in communication, able to summarize requirements and describe difficult concepts in a clear way, network builder.
Strong written and verbal English language communication skills.
Outstanding project management, record and time keeping skills.
Client-centric, Agile, Collaborative, taking pride and striving for excellence.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, International Relations, or other specialization based on the specific coverage, preferred.
