We have an immediate position available for a Heavy Equipment Operator for our Landfill in Angleton, TX. In this position you will be operating our Dozers, Excavators, Compactor, along with trucks and smaller equipment at our solid waste landfill.

　　DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　•Spreading and compacting trash using a compactor

　　•Spreading daily cover using a Dozer

　　•Excavating soil using a excavator

　　•Maintaining haul roads using a grader

　　•Hauling soil

　　•Work in a fast paced, team environment

　　•Follow safe operating practices

　　•Learn and use interpersonal skills relating to good customer service

　　WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

　　•Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 60 pounds.

　　•The employee is exposed to outside weather, including frequent wet and/or humid conditions, as well as exposure to fumes and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.

　　MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

　　•Valid drivers license.

　　•Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English.
