).DESCRIPTIONDecypher is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist to support Wright Patterson AFB, OH.RESPONSIBILITIESOperates, calibrates, cleans, disinfects, and sterilizes specialized equipment to evaluate cardiopulmonary functions and cardiopulmonary physiologyPerforms pulmonary function test to include but not limited to spirometry, oxygen dilution, and lung volumesUnder orders of a physician, administers respiratory care to include but not limited to oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, mechanical ventilator management, and preparation and administration of respiratory medicationsAssists critical care physicians with invasive procedures to include but not limited to: intubation, extubation, chest tube placement, arterial placement, and thoracentesisDraws and analyzes arterial blood gas samplesDetermines disposable supply inventory level; stocks accordingly, restock excess supplies, and report to replenishment requirements to department's supply custodianAttend/conduct meetings and training regarding respiratory therapyQUALIFICATIONSAssociates DegreeLicensed Respiratory Therapist1-year experience performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to care for and treat pulmonary laboratory patients.Must be available to work days and nightsBasic Life Support (BLS)Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)US CitizenNACI background checkDecypher is a leading integrator of professional, technology, and management solutions and services.
