　　Brother Bonaventure Extended Care & Rehabilitation Center is a not-for-profit skilled nursing center affiliated with Trinitas Regional Medical Center. We are a 124-bed facility designed to provide continuous care and support for individuals who require long-term care or sub-acute care before returning home. Our facility, in conjunction with Trinitas, is committed to improving the health status of the people and communities we serve. We strive to promote independence and improve functional capacities to enhance the quality of life of our residents.

　　Brother Bonaventure is licensed by the State of New Jersey. We are approved by Medicare and Medicaid as well as Managed Care. We offer 24-hour licensed nursing care; direct access to full hospital support services including the Wound Care Center, Dialysis Center, ophthalmology, podiatry, dental and psychiatric services, physical, occupational and speech therapies, Social Work services, therapeutic recreation and pet therapy; Pastoral Care programs and Religious services; laundry services; and professional hairdresser, barber and specialized dietary services.

　　Brother Bonaventure Extended Care & Rehabilitation Center provides 24-hour licensed nursing care under the supervision of our Medical Director. Our Medical Director, in cooperation with our staff physicians, provides excellent care in managing the overall health of our residents.

　　Our registered and licensed practical nurses, along with our certified nursing aides and licensed PT, OT, and Speech Therapists, assist long-term and sub-acute patients in recovering from and managing various acute medical and orthopedic conditions. Special and individualized care is provided for all residents.

　　Brother Bonaventure Extended Care & Rehabilitation Center utilizes our full-service Wound Care and Dialysis Centers, located at Trinitas' Williamson Street Campus. We also work in cooperation with our on-site Behavioral Health Services and Psychiatric Emergency Department, for those patients that may require immediate psychiatric attention and/or placement.

　　JOB SUMMARY:

　　A certified nursing assistant's (CNA) main role is to provide basic care to patients, as well as assist them in daily activities they might have trouble with on their own, such as bathing. Because of the personal nature of the job, certified nursing assistants should be compassionate and enjoy helping others.Educational Skills Required (Degree(s), Certification(s), License, etc.)

　　Effective July 22, 2014 Must have a valid nurse aide in long-term care facilities certificate and be registered in good standing on the NJ Nurse Aide Registry; or may be employed for less than 120 days and be currently enrolled in an approved nursing nurse aid in long term care facilities training course and scheduled to complete the skills and written / oral examination within 120 days of employment; or be employed for no more than 120 days and has been granted a conditional certification by the NJ Department of Health while awaiting clearance from the criminal background investigation. Must possess the ability to read, write and speak English. CPR/Basic life support certification within three months of employment.Work Experience Required
