  Vibra Hospital of Denver, located in Thornton, CO, is a 54 bed CriticalCare Hospital providing acute care services to patients recovering fromserious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients require additional criticalcare services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectiousdiseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputationand ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer anopportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where youreally get to know your patients and their families.

  Responsibilities

  The CNA provides assistance to licensed nursing personnel in the provision ofpatient care by providing and documenting activities of daily living,including personal hygiene and grooming, and providing a clean, healthyand safe environment. Utilizes basic infection control procedures, basicnutrition and fluid intake skills. Recognizes emergency situations andrespondsRequired Skills:High school diploma or equivalent required.Two (2) years of experience as a Nurse Aide or other relevant experiencein lieu of education will be considered.Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a NursingAssistant as applicable in the state of employment required.Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.Additional Qualifications/Skills:Acute care/LTAC experience preferred.Ability to project a professional image.Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in theworkplace.Benefits

  The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors thatare considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limitedto, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure andcertifications, and other business and organizational needs. It's nottypical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range fortheir role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts andcircumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is$18.
