CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT

　　Actalent is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant to support our client onsite in the North Houston area!

　　RESPONSIBILITIES

　　Records patient vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.

　　Stock exam/treatment rooms and orders supplies.

　　Obtain blood specimens.

　　Answers phone calls for referrals

　　Schedule patient tests, procedures and hospital admissions.

　　Schedules appointments to follow-up on receipt of test results.

　　Performs administrative duties, typing, filing, faxing, reception.

　　QUALIFICATIONS

　　2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant

　　Specialty Experience such as: dermatology, oncology, endocrinology, urology, would care, etc.

　　Oncology experience preferred

　　Active Medical Assistant Certification or Registration Required

　　SCHEDULE

　　8AM-5PM or until the last patient is seen.

　　Monday - Friday no weekends.
