　　The Checker/Loader is responsible for operating material handling equipment such as forklifts (propane and electric), hand trucks, and pallet jacks to load and unload shipments, move stock, or reorganize storage. Performs general maintenance and clean-up of the work area.

　　Knowledge, Education, and Experience

　　High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience operating forklift trucks (propane and electric) with the ability to operate them safely in congested areas. Ability to perform basic math calculations with addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Ability to be flexible, adapt to changes quickly, and think conceptually. Must be reliable, able to work independently and in a team setting, always maintain a positive attitude, and remain calm in stressful situations. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills working with a diverse population.
