　　Job Summary and Qualifications

　　Manages the daily operations and activities of the Central Sterile Department. Responsible for the management of the department’s daily operations to achieve quality improvement, fiscal, productivity, and patient satisfaction goals and objectives established by Director. These responsibilities may include but are not limited to; planning, preparation and oversight of staff schedules; providing input into employee decisions related to hiring, performance assessment and disciplinary actions;. The Central Sterile Manager develops collaborative working relationships with hospital leadership, physicians, and staff, both internal and external to the department and to accomplish these responsibilities in an effective and efficient manner. The Central Sterile Manager oversees and guides the staff to ensure the Department meets JCAHO and Regulatory standards and complies with corporate policy and procedures. The Central Sterile Manager is also responsible for managing supplies and equipment in the department, for promoting teamwork with physicians and all health care providers, for promoting internal and external customer satisfaction and for appropriate resource management.

　　High School Graduate / GED

　　3 Minimum Years of Experience

　　CRSCT preferred

　　CCSM preferred

These specialties include emergency care, heart, and vascular care. We are designated by the Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center. Other specialties include maternity and neonatal care.
